Why should you refer me?
You’ll look good: I provide an excellent service…
- My average client reduces costs 35% without changing carriers
- Minimal Impact: I get results without changing carriers or systems
- No Investment: No fees unless savings are found
- I do all the work and require minimal effort from the client
Referral Fees:
Receive 10% of any fees I bill to your referee. Say they spend $4K per mo
and I save them 35%, that’s 10% of $700 to you, or $70 per month
for two years. And for refunds I obtain, you get a lump sum payment along
with me.
Get an iPad:
For any referees that I ultimately bill $200 or more per month, you can forgo
referral fees and receive a spiffy new Apple iPad instead if you want.
Give to Charity:
Does accepting referral fees or iPads creates a conflict for you? If so, a comparable donation can be made in your name to a charity of your choice.
How: Send them an email saying…
“I want to introduce Mark of VDL Consulting, someone I network with. He’s an
efficiency expert of sorts who is great at reducing telecom costs. He doesn’t sell
phone service or anything else, he’s simply a consultant. He works on contingency
so there are no fees unless he finds savings.
If you have interest, reach out to him or visit his site for more info…”

Note: It’s best if you CC me on the email so I can follow up with them.
Who:
I Prefer: Owners, CFOs or anyone concerned with ensuring the cost efficiency of the
telecom area. This generally excludes IT managers…
Note: IT and telecom managers usually say “no” right off the bat. They of course tend to
believe they have it handled. So I usually go around them to the person who
wants to verify things are well managed and costs are minimized – often a CFO or owner.
